About 10 years ago, a good friend gave our family this nativity advent calendar as a Christmas gift. We have used it every year since then and it has become a favorite family tradition.
The calendar contains a few scriptures--a portion of the Christmas story--for every day in December. Each day also has an activity to do as a family and a piece of the nativity to build the Bethlehem scene.
On Christmas Eve, the baby Jesus will complete the picture. It's such a great way to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas every day of the month.
