The weather was perfect.
A co-worker outing which provided a free ticket was perfect.
And King Felix threw the 23rd perfect game in MLB history, and the first in Mariners history.
And I was there!
Perfect.

Caleb will never forgive him, Erin. We were watching it on TV and were jumping around the living room, yelling and screaming after the last pitch was thrown and all Caleb could say was, "I can't believe Dad got to be there. I'm SO jealous!!"
We did some rough math and figured that perfect games occur maybe once in every 15,000 games but what are the odds that Jon would just happen to be at that one game? What a lucky guy.
That is so awesome. I am so jealous he got to be there, too. That is on the bucket list of thing to get to witness for every baseball fan. So, so jealous. Go Mariners!

Caleb told us about this last night. He said, "I'm pretty sure it was the best day of my dad's whole life!! He did mention a little something about being jealous.
