What Made Thanksgiving Great

Thanksgiving 2008 was really great...

...because Grandpa had a cozy lap and lots of cuddles to give.

And he's a short order cook in the morning and makes milkshakes after dinner.

...because of the bounty of Jon's trademark faces.

...because dinner was oh-so-yummy, included all the fixin's and I didn't have to do any of the cooking!

...because cousins are the best kind of playmates.

...because the Great Northern Carousel is a Helena tradition that never grows old. And trying to catch the brass ring adds extra excitement to every ride.

...because Aunt Maureen and Uncle Christopher took the kids to the movies.

...because Montana doesn't have sales tax!

...because even when the service is bad, you can't beat lunch at Staggering Ox.

...because Wal-Mart's 8 dollar coat saved me from the cold Montana mountain air.

...because a 9 hour drive gives you plenty of family togetherness and being together with family is what Thanksgiving is all about.

Thanks for the pictures, Jen.

So jealous you were able to go to Montana for the holiday. I wish I could have been there too, to add to the cousin play, enjoy a milkshake and pick up something from the Ox.

Glad you made it home safely!

Fun times!

I love carousels with rings. It's so much fun to win a free ride when you get the brass ring.

Cute pictures, especially of Jon.
